Built a student-friendly, home-coded alternative to Logitech’s presentation clicker using the Circuit Playground Express (CPX).

Inspired by Vinsel and Russell’s Hail the Maintainers and Matt Ratto’s concept of “critical making,” I reimagined the CPX’s built-in features—namely its tactile buttons and onboard speaker—not just for functionality, but as a reflection on storytelling, maintenance, and meaning.

The result: a low-cost tool that supports impactful presentations while reclaiming the value of repair, emotional care, and intentional design.
